From a user perspective, DHCP might be the best thing sliced bread – easy access without the need to setup an IP address each time one connects to a network.  From a network administrator’s perspective that easy access also enables untrusted users and guests the same abilities.  Secure DHCP brings control back to the network administrator while still allowing ease of access that users demand.
