Some of the most common workstation intrusions are spam, spyware, and viruses. There are several strategic defenses to combat these intrusions. Commonly used defenses are deploying client based anti-spam/spyware/virus products. An additional layer of defense is to deploy network based security solutions that scan and block this type of intrusive traffic.
