Over 200 Senior Information Technology Directors & Chief Security Officers expected to attend Cadre’s “Art of Security” Security Conference and Expo.

 

 

     Senior Information Technology Directors, Security & Compliance Officers and Chief Technology Officers from the Midwest attend the fourth annual security conference entitled “The Art of Security” November 7 and 8, 2006 at The Hyatt Regency, Downtown Cincinnati.  The conference presents state-of-art security network trends and shows IT directors and security officers how they can increase productivity and profitability through security awareness and services. Companies such as Cadre, Check Point, Nokia, Ciper Trust, eEye and Sourcefire will demonstrate their latest technologies.      The Security Expo features two keynote speakers. On Nov. 7, 2006,  Marc Maiffret, Founder of eEye Digital Security presents in the Hyatt Regency Ballroom, 1:30PM-2:45PM. His focus is product development and vulnerability research efforts.  He is an award-winning expert regarding network security issues and has testified in Congress regarding the state of computer security.     
                               

     On Nov. 8 Martin Roesch, Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Sourcefire, speaks in The Hyatt Regency room Regency A, 10:45AM-11:45AM. Roesch is the author and lead developer of Snort Intrusion Detection System. His credits include: network security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection systems, honey-pots, network scanners and enforcement systems. Martin was awarded the 2004 InfoWorld IT Heroes Innovator Award, has been featured in publications such as Scientific American and has been quoted in multiple technology publications, such as MSNBC, Wall Street Journal, CNET and ZDNET.
